The unique timepiece offered by Patek Philippe on the occasion of the Children Action 2024 charity gala was auctioned by Phillips, Bacs & Russo in Geneva on November 25 for 6.7 million Swiss francs. This amount will allow Children Action to reinforce the support it provides children of all nationalities, cultures and faiths, by implementing various projects in several countries around the world.
Since 2005, Patek Philippe has been committed to supporting the motto "The first human right is to have a childhood" by offering a special version of an exceptional timepiece at each Children Action auction.
In 2024, Patek Philippe offered a unique hand-engraved Nautilus in steel, Reference 5711/1500A, accompanied by a matching pair of hand-engraved cuff links.
The case, bezel, and bracelet in steel are hand-engraved with Maori-inspired motifs. The bracelet with polished central links is fastened with a steel fold-over clasp. On the sapphire case back, a metallized inscription reads “Children Action 2024”.
The hand-engraved steel cuff links feature a charcoal gray sunburst center with a black-gradient rim.
